Indian Globe Thistles are native to Indian subcontinent. Flowering starts somewhere in the late winter. I found these thriving bushes amid the heat wave of Summer in the outskirts of the city. The untouched blossom of these outliers inspired me to capture them. With their faded and almost colorless existence they provide very interesting texture to the land in harsh light of Indian summer. I visited these places several times for studies and photographic references. "Profusion" belongs to the series of tonal works that I have created with the same subject.
